About the Artist

     James Patrick Hockin painted the watercolor used for the cover of the book.  Mr Hockin's recent works puts particular emphasis on the human form.  His works have been seen at the Fielding Institute, the Guernica Gallery, the Faulkner Gallery, Santa Barbara Museum of Natural history, Beverly Hills Affair in the Gardens and is part of collections on both east and west-coast United States.  He currently shows his works in Santa Barbara, Ca at the outdoor gallery on the beach boardwalk.  He lives aned paints in Santa Barbara.  The title of the cover painting is "The Six Degrees of Amber Light."
